What was the most rewarding part about the finished product, and or creating this?

It was really interesting to learn about the details of my Grandpa’s stroke. I knew the overarching ideas and story of how it happened but it was fascinating to hear the perspectives of the people closest to him.

What did you use to record this?

I used my phone for the raw audio clips and the classroom provided microphones for the interviews. I edited the whole feature in Adobe Audition. 

What was your biggest challenge in creating this piece?

I think my biggest struggle was the ending. I felt like I couldn’t make it end seamlessly. I didn’t want a choppy or abrupt ending. There were a lot of versions of this feature with different endings.
