Sophie Cartwright - is a senior at Mercer Island High School and will be entering her fourth and final year at KMIH 88.9 The Bridge. Since her Freshman year of high school, 88.9 has given her a place to learn, create, and grow. Sophie will continue as Web Director, and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes this year in radio. Outside of the program, Sophie enjoys playing volleyball, yo-yoing, and shredding on the guitar.

Ellie Sadlier - Program Director of Student Staff. Ellie is a Senior at MIHS! This is her fourth year in the radio program and she is so excited to make more radio and plan bonding events! Outside of radio, Ellie loves to read, go to concerts, learn about the music industry and play with her dogs. Ellie hosts a music show called Broken Record every Tuesday at 6pm!

Annabelle Hegarty - is a senior at MIHS. It is her fourth year at KMIH and her second year in the ABRO class. She is one of the three program directors this year. Her favorite things about radio are broadcasting sports, participating in community events, and helping to organize the station in the background. She also loves listening to music (especially Taylor Swift), playing with her dogs, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jenna Martin - is a senior at Mercer Island. It is her 4th year in the program and 2nd year in Abro. This year she is the Program Director of Content. She is super excited to continue making newscasts and participating in Breakfast on the Bridge. Outside of radio, Jenna is the captain of the girls soccer team and she enjoys hanging out with friends and family.

Sidh Shroff - is a senior at MIHS and is in his fourth year of radio. From General Manager to Growth and Development Director, Sidh has enjoyed many aspects of the radio station, especially going live. Outside radio, Sidh enjoys writing music, playing tennis, and playing with his dog. He has really enjoyed radio's community for the past years and is even more excited for the year to come!

Elise McDonald - is a Senior at Mercer Island. It is her 4th year in the radio program, and second year in ABRO. She is super excited to host and produce Breakfast on The Bridge, as well as host her podcast, "A Love Letter to..." with her friend Lauren. Whenever she's not in the studio, you can find her doing any water sport imaginable, on the ski slopes, or listening to Phoebe Bridgers. Elise also enjoys keeping up the @889thebridge instagram and being involved with everything radio! Elise is super excited to continue her final year of radio and make it the best one yet!

Lauren Suzuki - is a senior and is back with the KMIH staff for her third year of radio! You can still catch her on Sundays at 9am for Rice & Shine's senior season, as well as starting a new show: A Love Letter to... Lauren is excited to be back with the radio team this year!

Sophie Hill - is a senior at MIHS, and it is her 4th year in the program. She is super excited to continue her podcast "Rice and Shine" with her co-hosts. Besides doing her podcast, she also enjoys daily sportscasting and live broadcasting volleyball games. Outside of radio, Sophie likes history, math, and running track. You can listen to "Rice and Shine" every Sunday at 9 am!

Paige Evans - is a senior at MIHS and is currently in her third year of radio. She has dabbled in almost everything, but enjoys to make content centered around people and their stories. She loves going live and talking to people- especially about things she knows nothing about. Outside of radio, Paige enjoys video editing, ice skating, art, and exploring. This year may be her last year as a part of the program, but she plans on making the most of it and taking every opportunity she gets!

Melena Wong - is a senior at Mercer Island High School and has been in the radio program for 4 years! She has been doing a show with her best friend, Caitlin Monahan, since freshman year and have had different shows and members throughout the years. This year she is doing a show with Caitlin Monahan and Paige Evans-Riera called Twisted Truth. Twisted Truth airs Thursdays @6! Melena is a captain for the high school volleyball team, likes to hang out with her friends, and loves being in the KMIH community!

Dylan Shobe - is a staff member part of the ABRO class and is also in his fourth year at the station. He specializes in hosting interviews, producing sports reports, and entertaining live on the air. Outside of radio, Shobe is also interested in journalism, editing personal videos for his youtube and writing for the high school's newspaper, the Islander.

Woody Brown - is a senior at Mercer Island High School. It is his 4th year in the program and his first year in ABRO. He is super excited to continue his soccer sport show 'The Football Zone' for the third and final year! He is also excited to be a contributing part of Breakfast on the Bridge, Sports Reports, and going live any chance he gets. Outside of Radio, Woody's favorite subject is History and is the captain of the Boy's Soccer Team and wants to win State this year. You can listen to his sports show "The Football Zone' every Thursday at 9pm!

Luke Myklebust - is in his second year of radio at MIHS. He is super excited to help host the "Breakfast on the Bridge" morning show. He also has a radio show, "The Audit", with Joe Shleifer every Tuesday at 5pm. Tune in for fun trivia themed interviews with a weekly guest! Outside of radio, Luke plays football, wrestles, and enjoys math and physics.

Alyssa Pangallo - is a senior at MIHS. She has been taking radio for 3 years and has had various shows each year. Outside of school, she likes to dance for MIDT and run with MIXC. Her favorite part of radio is going on live and interviewing MIHS students. She hopes to become more involved with the behind-the-scenes of the station and promote KMIH to the whole island.

Joey Lurie - is a Senior at Mercer Island High School. It is her fourth year in the radio program and she is excited to be a large contributor to our morning show Breakfast On The Bridge. Outside of radio, Joey plays for the MIHS girls soccer, and softball team.

Caitlin Monahan - is a senior at Mercer Island High School. It is her 4th year in the radio program. She is super excited to do a show with her classmates Melena and Paige, called, Twisted Truth. She is also looking forward to going live on Breakfast on the Bridge and making promos and PSAs. Outside of radio, Caitlin is a captain of the MIHS varsity basketball team. You can listen to her show Twisted Truth every Thursday at 6 pm.

Benjamin Kriger - is a senior at Mercer Island High School. This is his third year as a part of KMIH. He is looking forward to leading sports broadcasting, especially basketball, football, and soccer! Outside of radio, he enjoys hiking, playing and watching basketball, and tracking sports statistics.

Sam Paddor - is Junior at Mercer Island High School. Sam is in his third year of radio in the ABRO class. Over the past 3 years, Sam has run a music show called My Back Pages where he has interviewed over 45 rock and roll musicians. Sam won the 2023 New York Times 6th Annual Podcast Contest for his podcast in which he interviewed Arlo Guthrie, Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane and Fito de la Parra of Canned Heat about their experiences playing live at Woodstock. In the coming year, Sam is the music director at KMIH and will be continuing to interview many more amazing musicians!

Kate Lenington - is a junior at MIHS. It is her 3rd year in the radio program and her first year on the ABRO team. She was one of the winners of the 6th annual New York Times student podcast award. Kate is looking forward to continuing her pop culture show "What Was That About?" with fellow junior Sophia Loiselle, hosting Breakfast on the Bridge, and working on a bunch of new projects this year! Outside of radio, Kate swims for the high school's swim and dive team and plays for the high school's water polo team.

Joe Shleifer- is a junior at mercer island Highschool entering his 3rd year with the radio program. Joe is starting a new show this year, co-hosting "The Audit" in its first year at 889 the bridge. He is excited to start doing sports-casts, live shows, and breakfast on the bridge. Outside of radio Joe's favorite subject is marketing and he is a linebacker for the Mercer Island Highschool football team. You can listen to Joe's show "The Audit" Tuesdays at 5 pm.

Hayley Nguyen - is a junior at Mercer Island High School. This is her third year in the radio program and she is excited to work on Breakfast on The Bridge this year and produce more interviews! She co-hosts a food podcast, Eating Adventures, with Chloe Yang, which you can listen to every Wednesday at 12pm.

Nicole Henderson - is a junior at Mercer Island. It is her 3rd year in the radio program. She is excited to begin hosting Breakfast on the Bridge morning shows this year and to continue her show for its 3rd season. Outside of radio, Nicole loves to run and travel. You can listen to her show, Rush Hour, every Friday from 5-6 pm.

Chloe Yang - is a junior at Mercer Island High School entering her third year at KMIH. Alongside co-hosting her food podcast, Eating Adventures, she plays on the MIHS golf team, enjoys indoor plants, and loves working with the greater community. Catch her live on the radio every Wednesday at noon, as well as on the morning broadcasts!

Toly Odievich - Is a Junior at Mercer Island. It is his third year of radio, and he is exited to incorporate new aspects of broadcasting technology into KMIH, and make new episodes of his fun fact show, "You Didn't Know This!" In his spare time, Toly flies remote control aircraft at his local club/ For a new fun fact, you can tune in to Breakfast on the Bridge.

Amuktha Josyula - is a junior at MIHS and it is her third year in the radio program. She is excited to continue her news show, Rush Hour! She's also looking forward to doing more interviews this year. Outside of radio she plays the tenor saxophone in band, is part of a crew team, and teaches dance.

Anna Carson - is a junior at MIHS and is in her 3rd year of radio. She is very excited to keep working on her weekly ski reports this year and doing lots of fun interviews. Outside of radio, she enjoys playing soccer, running track, and skiing.

Sophia Loiselle - is a junior at MIHS and this is her 3rd year as a member of 88.9. You can hear Sophia hosting her weekly news feature “STEM News You Can Use,” and cohosting “What Was That About?,” a pop culture review show. Outside of radio, Sophia enjoys playing lacrosse, running, and skiing.
