Ajay Manhas - is a senior at Mercer Island. It is his 4th year in the program. He is super excited to continue his sports shows Moving the Chains for the third year! Also excited to do daily sportscasts, go live, and broadcast basketball games. Outside of radio, Ajay favorite subject is math and is the captain of the tennis team and wants to win state this year. You can listen to his show Moving the Chains every Thursday at 6 PM.

Azad - is a senior as well as a 3rd year member of the KMIH 889 the Bridge radio team. He has the show Power predictions which he runs with his group friends. Azad loves sports, and Power predictions is where he gives sports knowledge and opinions. Apart from the radio, Azad enjoys working out and hanging out with friends. At home an ideal night with Azad is watching a movie, and eating some comfort food. His favorite movie is Southpaw, favorite food are Tacos, and favorite artist is Kanye. Finally Azad hopes that the fantasy advice he gives listeners help them win games!

Gill MacDonald - is a senior at Mercer Island high school who loves playing sports, and even more than that, talking about it! You can find Gill on a typical Tuesday morning @8 AM discussing the previous week of sports on Power Predictions, as well as giving his HOT TAKES on games in the future. When he is not broadcasting Gill is cheering on Mercer Island Sports as he is one of the four flag dudes in his senior class. He brings the energy on and off the mic all week long! 

Shay Adleberg - is a senior at Mercer Island. It is his fourth year in the radio program and he is excited to learn more about sports broadcasting. Outside of radio Shay plays water polo for Mercer Island. You can listen to his show Shays Sports Stories every Sunday at 4.

Luca Galvin - is a Senior at MIHS. He plays for the Boys Soccer Team at the High school and for Eastside FC in Preston. You can hear Luca every Thursday along with Woody Brown and Nick Mautoune at 8:00. They host the Football Zone, a show mainly about the premier leauge.

Noah Perlman - is a senior at MIHS and has been in the radio program for four years. Every year he has had great sports shows including Power Predictions and Moving The Chains. He is very excited to be back for his last year of radio broadcasting at Mercer Island High School.

Renn Novak – is a senior at Mercer Island High School. It is their second year in radio and they look forward to hosting The Tides Show on 88.9 again this year. Outside of radio class, Renn likes to read poetry, enjoys playing the guitar, and is on the high school lacrosse team.

Sadie Jensen - is a senior at MIHS and has been a part of the radio program for three years. One of Sadie's main focus in radio is the annual radio drama she directs, edits, and produces every year. All of which have been nominated for national awards and last years "The House In Cypress Canyon" won first place in the Best Radio Drama category. Stay tuned for "The War Of The Worlds coming this year!

Max Hughes - is a senior at Mercer Island and has been on the radio since his freshman year. Outside of school, Max loves to play lacrosse and ski. You can catch him on Moving the Chains, Thursdays at 6 PM.

Maddie Thompson - is a senior at Mercer Island High School. This will be her 4th year at KMIH, and she has produced three different shows since she's been here. Maddie's current show is Trivia Tuesday with Hadley Holtzclaw, and airs live on Tuesdays at 2pm. Radio has been Maddie's favorite class since her very first day at MIHS, and she recommends it to anybody who is even remotely considering it!

William Acker - is a senior at Mercer Island High School and it’s his 3rd year in the radio program. He loves programming music and you can hear him regularly on the airwaves. Some of his favorite music includes The Beach Boys, The Doors, and The Grateful Dead. William loves making tea, talking to his Alexa, and spending time with his family.Woody Brownis a Junior at Mercer Island High School and returning to KMIH 889 The Bridge Mercer Island for his third year. When he isn’t recording his food show - Straight From The Table or The Football Zone - he enjoys playing soccer for club and high school.

Alyssa Pangallo - is a junior at Mercer Island High School. It is her second year in the Radio Broadcasting program and she is excited to learn more and contribute to the KMIH radio station. Outside of radio, she likes to dance and run, as she is part of the MI Drill team and does cross country and track & field.

Benjamin Kriger - is a junior at Mercer Island High School. This is his second year as a part of KMIH, and he is especially looking forward to doing more color commentating as part of sports broadcasting! Outside of radio, he enjoys playing (and watching) basketball, going biking, and hanging out with friends.

Caitlin Monahan - is a junior at Mercer Island High school, and is entering her third year in the radio program. Her favorite things about radio are recording her weekly show with her classmates and making promos. Outside of school, she enjoys playing basketball and spending time with her friends and family.

Gian(Yoshi) Manhas - Is a 10th grader at Mercer Island High School. It is his second year in the radio program and he is excited to what they want to learn this year. Outside of radio, Yoshi likes to play tennis, talk to people, watch sports, and have fun. You can listen to Yoshi’s show “Guess What?” Every Thursday at 10 AM.

Grace Go - is a junior at Mercer Island High School and has been a part of the radio program since her freshman year. She loves being in the station creating all kinds of content for 88.9, her biggest focus being spotlighting unique voices on air!

Julia Sommerfield- is a Junior at Mercer Island High School. It is her second year in the radio program, and she excited for what she can do this year. She is a goalie on the varsity girl’s water polo team, and swims competitively for swive.

Joey Lurie - is a junior at Mercer Island High School. It is her third year in the radio program and she is excited to start broadcasting more sports events for the station. Outside of radio, Joey plays soccer and softball for both her high school team and club teams.

Melena - is a junior at Mercer Island High School, she also plays on the school’s volleyball team as a setter! Since freshman year, Melena has been doing a radio show with her best friend, Caitlin Monahan, and last year they added a new member! They ran a trivia/lifestyle show and had a blast doing it! Sadlly this year, that member couldn’t make it back, but they brought in someone new!! They’ve got games, jokes, debates and laughter coming your way! You can here their show ‘What’s Cookin’ Good Lookin’, on air Tuesdays at 4!

Maddie Brown - is a junior at Mercer Island High School. It is her third year in the radio program and she is excited to introduce two new radio shows this year! Outside of radio, Maddie loves to play tennis, go hiking, and spend time with her family and friends! You can listen to On the Stove, Saturdays at 1PM, and Hit Shuffle, on Mondays at 3PM!

Maggie Blohm - is an enthusiastic member of the KMIH staff. When not hanging out around the station, she enjoys playing soccer, skiing, and finding new adventures to later talk about on air. Maggie is so stoked for a great year in radio!

Maya Eldridge Baker - is a Junior at Mercer island high school. This is her second in the radio program and she is excited to continue creating shows and podcasts. Outside of the radio program, Maya enjoys playing tennis and being around friends. You can listen to her show “Hit Shuffle” Mondays at 3!

Nick Mautone - is a junior this year, and currently has two shows, The Football Zone, with Woody Brown and Luca Galvin, and What's Cookin Good Lookin? with Caitlin Monahan and Melena Wong. You can catch the former on Thursdays at 8PM, and the latter on Thursdays at 4PM. When not recording radio, Nick is an avid basketball player and music enjoyer.

Paige Evans - is an 11th grader at Mercer Island High School. It is their 2nd year in the radio program and they are excited to produce a new show and create more forms of entertainment for people to listen to. Outside of radio, Paige likes to create youtube videos, play video games, and animate.

Amuktha Josyula - is a sophomore at Mercer Island High School. It is her second year in the radio program and she’s excited to be back in the station and learn new things. Outside of radio, she likes playing badminton, rowing, and dancing. You can listen to her show, Rush Hour every Friday from 5 to 6 pm.

Anna Carson - is a sophomore at MIHS and this is her 2nd year in the radio program. You listen to Anna’s show, The Powder Room every Monday where she discusses skiing, hiking, and lots more outdoor activities. You can also hear her giving the run down of the most snow-filled mountain to ski on Fridays during the winter season. Along with skiing, Anna enjoys playing club and high school soccer, running track, and spending time with friends.

Charlie Crump - is a sophomore at Mercer Island High School. It is his second year in the radio program and he is excited to learn more about making a show on the radio this year. Charlie likes to play Water Polo and swim for MIHS Swim and Dive. You can listen to their show Guess What? every Thursday at 10:00 am.

Chloe Yang - is a sophomore at Mercer Island High School. It is her 2nd year in the radio program and she is thrilled to continue her podcast, Eating Adventures, as well as explore sports broadcasting! Outside of radio, Chloe is passionate about playing basketball, golf, and soccer. You can listen to her show on Wednesdays at noon!

Sebastian Gonzalez - is very exited to try new things and have different experiences to his previous year. He is going to to be more involved with the station as he is now in the advanced class. Seb loves anything and everything sports, even those that he is not well versed in. He plays football and lacrosse for Mercer Island High. He has two dogs, one pug and one rescue mutt, being the animal over that he is. Seb enjoys spending his free time with his friends, typically playing video games or doing something active, such as going to the lake.

Hadley Holtzclaw - is a sophomore at MIHS. It is her 2nd year in the radio program and she is excited to learn about editing and programing podcasts and more. Outside of radio, Hadley loves tennis, baking, and volleyball. You can listen to her show, Trivia Tuesday, every Tuesday from 2-3 with co-host Maddie Thompson.

Hayley Nguyen - is a sophomore at Mercer Island High School. It is her 2nd year in the radio program and she is excited to do more live broadcasting and expand her show. Outside of radio, Hayley likes playing soccer and skiing. You can listen to her show, Eating Adventures, every Wednesday at 12pm

Jack Isaacs - is a sophomore at Mercer Island High School. It is his second year in the radio program, and he is excited to learn how to become a good sports broadcaster. Outside of radio, Jack enjoys playing basketball, outdoor sports, and more. You can listen to Jack’s show Give Me The Aux every Saturday at 7 pm, also tune into Crunch time sports talk every Monday at 8 pm.

Joe Shleifer - is a sophomore and a co host of 88.9% sports talk with Jake Shleifer. Joe is also in the Mercer island high school football team and loves to watch and do play by play for the high school sports

Kate Lenington - is a sophomore a Mercer Island High School, it is her 2nd year in the radio program. Kate is on the high school swim team and waterpolo team. Last year she created Female Forward and hopes to continue to make episodes throughout this year, Kate is also working on a new show this year with fellow student Sophia Loiselle we’re they discuss all things pop culture. She is excited to try new things and continue to work hard this year in advanced radio.

Nicole Henderson - is a sophomore at Mercer Island High School. It is her second year in the radio program and she is excited to continue learning about show development and news reporting. Outside of radio, Nicole likes to run, play softball, and travel. You can listen to her show, Rush Hour, every Friday from 5-6 pm.

Ryan McNeil - is a staff member and show host at KMIH. He plays music live on the station any chance he gets and when he isn’t doing that he is playing with his band.

Sam - is a Sophomore and is in his second year on the KMIH staff. He loves music and runs a weekly show called My Back Pages every Saturday at 6 PM where he plays and talks about all sorts of music. He also rows outside of school and spends time playing viola and guitar!

Sasha Reule - is a sophomore at Mercer Island High School. It is her second year in the Radio program. Outside of radio, she plays volleyball and badminton, skis, hikes, bikes, and has her black belt in karate.

Samantha Schwarz - is a sophomore this year at MIHS and is excited for her second year on the KMIH staff. She spends her time at the racetrack driving race cars, on the soccer field, and at band events with her trumpet. This year she is starting a brand new show and is hoping to do more sports broadcasting

Sophia - is a sophomore, and this is her second year at KMIH. On the radio, you can hear her weekly feature 'STEM News You Can Use' and her new pop culture review show with Kate Lenington. Outside of radio, Sophia plays lacrosse and runs cross country.
Toly Odievich - is a sophomore in the advanced radio broadcasting class at Mercer island high school. He enjoys sharing fun facts with his friends, and flying remote control aircraft is his spare time. He frequently volunteers to broadcast the news for KMIH.
